Sias International University is located in Xinzheng, a suburb of Zhengzhou, in Henan Province in Central China. Considered the birthplace of Chinese civilization, Xinzheng is China's first ancient capital. As an internationally recognized and respected institution of learning, Sias plays a critical role in bringing new life and vitality to this revered ancient Chinese capital.

Sias International University, a member of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), was founded in 1998, and has been funded by The Sias Group, Inc. It is the first Chinese / foreign cooperatively run school built in Henan Province, developed solely with American financing. Sias is also a joint venture with Zhengzhou University and has the support of Fort Hays State University (FHSU) in Kansas, USA, as well as the support of other American partner institutions such as Antioch College, Rowan University, Whittier College, and West Connecticut State University.

Sias is the first university in Henan Province authorized by the State Degree Office to carry out full-time education leading to an American Degree. Established with the approval of the State Council of Education to conduct higher education, in 2000, Sias received approval from the State Degree Office to conduct courses leading to a Bachelor's Degree from Fort Hays State University. Sias also offers curriculum for foreign students studying in China.

The university has 15 schools that include the School of Business, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Art & Design, the School of International Education, as well as the School of Electronics and Information Engineering. In total, fifty-three different major areas of study are available to a current enrollment of 26,000 students.

At Sias, we are focused on producing versatile students proficient in English, students who have strong, up-to-date skills and knowledge, and a large global network of friends.With more than 100 foreign faculty members (the largest number of foreign faculty of any university in China) as well as international students on campus, students have the opportunity to study and interact in a beautiful and authentic international environment.
