Zhengzhou University SIE Party Sec visits Sias
Thursday, April 26 – On the 25th of April, the Party Secretary of the School of International Education (SIE) at Zhengzhou University (ZZU), Cao Ganbin, along with the Dean of the school, Jiao Xiaomin, and the Deputy Party Secretary, Xue Qingyi, visited Sias International University. The 3 guests toured Sias' campus extensively, and were given and introduction to Sias' educational philosophy, campus culture, and idea behind its architectural design.
The leaders from Zhengzhou University's School of International Education had a meeting with a group of leaders from Sias that included the Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, the Dean of the School of International Cultural Exchange, and Director of the Department of Global Engagement, Jinjin Chu, as well as members of the Party Committee Work Department and Sias' School of International Cultural Exchange.
Sias' Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, welcomed the delegation and spoke of Sias' East-meets-West knowledge-meets-practice educational philosophy. He also spoke of the innovation and entrepreneurship education, the examples of internationalization, and the recent achievements of the university. He also said that cooperation between the Schools of International Education at Zhengzhou University and Sias International University provided an opportunity for both sides to engage in exchanges and the study of foreign affairs. He thanked Zhengzhou University’s SIE delegation for their support through the years and said that he hoped that the two schools would continue their deep cooperation in the future.
The Party Secretary of the School of International Education at Zhengzhou University, Cao Ganbin, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception he received at Sias. He stressed on the importance of stability in students' lives and the need for putting the quality of education first. The Dean of the school, Jiao Xiaomin, said that he hoped that the two sides would maintain their cooperation and continue to support each other. The leaders of the two delegations discussed exchanges, the management of their departments and schools, and the setting of curriculum for internationalized education.
